Position Summary
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic leadership within the Department of Education. The Lecturer will play a key role in preparing future educators while advancing the College’s strategic objectives in teacher education.

- Educational Management/Administration
Key Responsibilities
The Lecturer will:
- Deliver undergraduate and other approved academic courses in the assigned specialization area.
- Develop, review, and enhance curriculum and instructional materials.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputable academic outlets.
- Supervise student projects, research work, and teaching practice activities.
- Assess student learning and provide timely academic support and feedback.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and institutional committees.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and accreditation requirements.
- Engage in community service, outreach activities, and professional development programmes.
- Contribute to the advancement of teacher education and institutional growth.
Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants must:
For Early Childhood Education
- Possess a PhD in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate expertise in teaching and learning within early childhood education.
- Have evidence of scholarly research and publications.
- Possess teaching experience at the tertiary level or a comparable institution.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and student mentorship skills.
For Educational Management/Administration
- Possess a PhD in Educational Management, Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate expertise in educational leadership, policy, administration, and institutional management.
- Have evidence of scholarly research and publications.
- Possess teaching experience at the tertiary level or a comparable institution.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrate commitment to academic excellence and professional integrity.
- Have a sound understanding of current trends and challenges in teacher education and higher education in Ghana.
- Be capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
