Position Summary
The Vice Principal will provide strategic academic and administrative leadership to support the Principal in advancing the College’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting excellence in teaching, learning, research, staff development, institutional governance, and stakeholder engagement while contributing to the continued growth and transformation of the College.

Key Responsibilities
The Vice Principal will:
- Support the Principal in the overall leadership and management of the College.
- Provide strategic direction for academic planning, teaching, learning, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Promote innovation and excellence in teacher education and professional development.
- Strengthen institutional effectiveness through sound governance and administrative leadership.
- Support policy development and implementation in line with national tertiary education standards.
- Foster productive relationships with students, staff, alumni, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to resource mobilization, institutional development, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Champion a culture of academic integrity, accountability, inclusiveness, and continuous improvement.
Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants must:
- Possess a PhD or equivalent terminal degree from a recognized institution.
- Be an individual of recognized stature and distinction in Teacher Education, Teaching and Learning.
- Hold the rank of at least Senior Lecturer in a tertiary education institution or an analogous institution.
- Demonstrate substantial administrative and leadership experience.
- Possess a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Colleges of Education and tertiary education in Ghana.
- Be able to serve a minimum of one full three-year term before attaining the compulsory retirement age.
Tenure of Office
The appointment of a person of professorial status as Vice Principal shall be for a term of three (3) years and may be renewed for one additional term of three (3) years, provided the appointee is able to complete the full term before reaching the compulsory retirement age of sixty (60) years.

- Be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12;
- Use 1.5 line spacing; and
- Have 2.54 cm margins on all sides.
