Role Summary
We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and enthusiastic Line Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team. You will actively contribute to food preparation and service while maintaining KAYA’s culinary standards and supporting a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in line with KAYA’s recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain consistency, quality, and hygiene in all food production activities
- Support smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery
- Assist in stock handling, portioning, and ingredient preparation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Requirements
- Diploma, Degree, or HND in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen (preferred)
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt to kitchen standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must reside in East Legon, Madina, or nearby communities
