We are currently seeking motivated and results-driven Loan Officers to join our team in Accra. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing loan applications, supporting clients throughout the lending process, and ensuring responsible lending practices.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Meet with prospective clients to discuss loan products and guide them through the loan application process.
• Provide clients with accurate information regarding loan requirements, procedures, and repayment terms.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Loan Processing and Assessment

• Collect and review financial documents required for loan applications.
• Assess applicants’ creditworthiness by evaluating financial records, credit scores, and repayment capacity.
• Calculate and analyze risk ratios and financial indicators to support lending decisions.

Loan Approval and Compliance

• Approve or decline loan applications based on established lending policies and risk assessments.
• Communicate loan decisions clearly and professionally to clients and management.
• Ensure all lending activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Reporting and Administration

• Maintain accurate loan records and documentation.
• Monitor loan portfolios and follow up on outstanding requirements where necessary.
• Utilize loan management software effectively to process and manage applications.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or SHS certificate in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a credit or loan officer role.
• Strong understanding of loan application procedures and lending best practices in line with regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in loan management software and basic computer applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and financial assessment abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
