Position Overview
The Management Trainee – National Service will work closely with experienced professionals across various departments to gain exposure to business operations, administration, client service, project coordination, and organisational processes. The successful candidate will participate in day-to-day business activities while developing practical workplace and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations
- Support the day-to-day operations of assigned departments.
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing operational activities.
- Contribute to projects that improve organisational efficiency and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to departmental teams.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
- Organise meetings, maintain schedules, and coordinate logistics.
- Ensure documents and records are properly filed and maintained.
Client and Stakeholder Support
- Assist in responding to client enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support the coordination of meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Help maintain positive relationships through excellent customer service.
- Participate in client engagement activities where required.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct research to support business initiatives and decision-making.
- Gather, analyse, and present information for management review.
- Prepare summaries and reports on assigned projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Project Coordination
- Support the planning and implementation of organisational projects.
- Monitor assigned tasks and provide progress updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Assist in coordinating events, workshops, and meetings.
Learning and Professional Development
- Participate actively in mentoring, coaching, and training programmes.
- Demonstrate initiative by taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Apply feedback to improve performance and professional development.
- Contribute ideas that support innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, Management, or a related discipline.
- Eligible to undertake National Service in Ghana.
- Strong academic performance with a demonstrated willingness to learn.
