The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Management Trainee – Sales (Agrochemicals) to join our commercial team. This full-time opportunity is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are eager to build a rewarding career in agribusiness and agricultural sales.

As a Management Trainee, you will gain practical experience in sales, customer engagement, market development, and business operations while working alongside experienced professionals in the agrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities

As the Management Trainee – Sales (Agrochemicals), you will:

  • Support the sales team in promoting and selling agrochemical products across assigned territories.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and farmers.
  • Participate in field visits, product demonstrations, and customer engagement activities.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and market trends.
  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records and sales data.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, product launches, training programmes, and promotional events.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge to provide effective support and technical information to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely product delivery.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets and business growth objectives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or up to two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
  • A strong interest in sales, agribusiness, and the agrochemical industry.
