Job Summary
The Mechanic ensures the efficient operation of factory equipment by diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance. The role supports uninterrupted production by maintaining equipment reliability while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in factory equipment promptly and effectively.
- Perform preventive maintenance in line with established schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
- Follow and enforce all workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Report major faults and recurring issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
Qualification Required & Experience
- Hold a relevant technical certificate (NVTI, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate prior experience in industrial or factory maintenance.
- Possess strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
- Exhibit a high level of safety awareness and discipline.
