Role Overview

Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd. seeks a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician & Electrician who will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems within the production environment. You will ensure equipment operates efficiently, minimize downtime, and uphold strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs on machinery and equipment
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems
• Support continuous operation of production lines by minimizing equipment downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Work safely in industrial environments, including at elevated heights when required

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of NVTI Certificate II or III in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related trade field
• Possess 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and industrial electrical work
• Demonstrate experience in a vehicle assembly plant (preferred)
• Hold a valid Electrical Wiring Certification from the Energy Commission or a recognized institution in Ghana
• Be physically fit and comfortable working at heights of 5 meters or more
• Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Work effectively both independently and within a team
