Position Overview

Asanko Gold Ghana Limited seeks a skilled and proactive Metallurgist to join its processing team. The successful candidate will drive metallurgical performance, optimize plant operations, and ensure efficient gold recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize metallurgical processes to maximize gold recovery.
• Analyze plant performance and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct metallurgical test work and interpret results.
• Support daily plant operations and troubleshoot processing challenges.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate production data.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the processing plant.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Minerals Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in metallurgical or mineral processing operations.
• Strong practical knowledge of gold processing techniques and plant operations.
• A valid Ghanaian driver’s license with the ability to operate light vehicles.
