Position Summary

AT Ghana is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MFS Performance Analyst to drive performance tracking, commercial insights, and data-driven decision-making within the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) ecosystem. The successful candidate will analyze product performance, support commercial strategy, and provide actionable insights that improve revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Product, Service & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze Mobile Financial Services (MFS) product performance using financial, operational, and customer data.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards to track KPIs, revenue trends, transaction volumes, and customer usage patterns.
  • Evaluate in-life product performance and recommend optimization, enhancement, or withdrawal actions based on data insights.
  • Support the development of new MFS product proposals using market research and competitive benchmarking.
  • Contribute to business cases by providing data-driven insights and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Monitor product lifecycle performance and ensure alignment with commercial and business objectives.

Commercial Operations Support

  • Support the development and execution of commercial strategies for the enterprise and MFS business unit.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities within the MFS ecosystem.
  • Provide insights on pricing performance, revenue contribution, and profitability of MFS products.
  • Support the implementation of commercial governance frameworks and performance reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sales performance and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Provide analytical support for complex commercial deals and business propositions.
  • Evaluate product sales performance, transaction costs, and operational efficiency to recommend improvements.

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Prepare regular performance reports, presentations, and dashboards for management decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and highlight risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
  • Support bid and commercial teams with data analysis for pricing, costing, and deal structuring.

Marketing & Innovation Support

  • Support the development of marketing strategies for MFS products through data insights and performance analysis.
  • Contribute to campaign effectiveness tracking and customer engagement measurement.
  • Identify digital innovation opportunities to improve customer experience and product adoption.
  • Work closely with marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment of performance objectives and market initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a telecom, fintech, or financial services analytics role.
  • Strong background in data analysis, performance reporting, and commercial analytics.
  • Experience working within Mobile Financial Services (MFS) or telecommunications is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in analytical tools, Excel, and reporting dashboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
