Position Summary

SHAPE Healthcare is seeking compassionate and qualified Midwives to join its clinical team. The successful candidates will provide high-quality maternal and newborn care while supporting expectant mothers throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.

The role requires strong clinical competence, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care to patients.
• Monitor the health and wellbeing of mothers and newborns during pregnancy and childbirth.
• Support safe labor and delivery practices in line with clinical standards and protocols.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on maternal health, newborn care, and reproductive health.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies and patient needs.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and healthcare compliance standards.
• Promote compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Midwifery or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years relevant working experience as a Midwife.
• Valid professional certification and licensing where applicable.
• Strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate, professional, and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
