Job Summary

Adamus Resources Limited (Nguvu Mining Ltd) seeks a competent and safety-conscious Mining Supervisor to oversee daily mining operations and ensure efficient production activities. The successful candidate will supervise mining teams, enforce safety compliance, and coordinate operational activities to achieve production targets in a safe and controlled manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mining operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive work activities.
• Allocate tasks to mining teams and monitor performance to meet production targets.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures, operational standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with mining regulations.
• Coordinate equipment usage and ensure optimal deployment of mining resources.
• Monitor blasting, drilling, and excavation activities to ensure operational accuracy and safety.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records and submit daily reports.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Liaise with technical and safety teams to ensure smooth site coordination.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar mining supervisory role.
• Minimum Mine Foreman Certification from MINCOM.
• Valid Ghanaian Driver’s License.
• Strong understanding of surface or underground mining operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and team supervision skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure mining environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline.
