Role Overview

Telecel Ghana seeks a MIS Data Science Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that support business performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. You will develop advanced analytical models, support management information systems, and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance performance visibility across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design dashboards, build predictive models, and ensure accurate reporting across key business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain management information systems (MIS) dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, and other visualization platforms.
• Build and deploy statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL, Python, R, and related tools to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Support financial and operational reporting processes using SAP, HFM, and other enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights that support performance discussions and business optimization.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in telecom operational and revenue data and recommend actionable interventions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with internal governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
• Proven experience in data analytics, machine learning, or a related field, with strong expertise in statistical modeling and data processing.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and tools, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, and HFM.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is an advantage, with understanding of telecom revenue streams and operational metrics.
