Night Supervisor

Location: Accra, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a proactive, responsible, and customer-focused Night Supervisor to oversee operations during overnight hours. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the property, maintain high service standards, support team members on duty, and provide exceptional service to guests throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all overnight operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during night shifts and address inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly.
  • Monitor front office activities, guest arrivals, departures, and reservations during overnight operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and hospitality service standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest areas and facilities to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Support and supervise night-shift employees, providing guidance and assistance when required.
  • Prepare and review daily operational reports, occupancy reports, and shift handover documentation.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Monitor security and safety procedures and respond effectively to emergencies or incidents.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address operational issues.
  • Verify financial transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation of daily records where applicable.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for guests and staff at all times.

Educational Requirements

  • Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in hospitality operations, front office supervision, guest services, or a related role.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, resort, serviced apartment, guest house, or similar hospitality environment is required.
  • Experience supervising teams and managing operational activities during shifts will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality service standards and guest relations.
