Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Programs Director to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of our programs in Accra. In this role, you will provide strategic direction, ensure program effectiveness, and foster a collaborative environment that supports innovation and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects
• Develop and execute program strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Monitor program performance and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
• Manage budgets, resources, and reporting processes effectively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
• Supervise and mentor program staff to achieve high performance
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements
• Identify opportunities for program growth and improvement

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
• 2–5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within an NGO or non-profit organization
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and impact-driven environment
