Position Summary
As the Project Officer, you will provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to ensure the effective implementation of KOFIH Ghana’s projects. You will support project planning, documentation, reporting, stakeholder engagement, field activities, and office operations while ensuring that all activities are delivered efficiently and in accordance with organizational standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Project & Administrative Support
As the Project Officer, you will:
- Provide administrative and operational support for office activities and project implementation.
- Support budget monitoring, financial administration, and project expenditure tracking.
- Assist with procurement activities in line with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, files, and documentation systems.
- Support office asset management, inventory tracking, and administrative controls.
- Provide human resource administration support when required.
- Assist with preparation of project materials, correspondence, and operational documents.
Project Coordination
You will:
- Support the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
- Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and project-related activities.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to support smooth implementation.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
- Support data collection and reporting processes related to project activities.
Public Relations & Office Visibility
You will:
- Support initiatives that strengthen KOFIH Ghana’s visibility and public engagement.
- Assist in developing communication materials and organizational publications.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities and official events.
- Represent KOFIH Ghana professionally when interacting with partners, institutions, and stakeholders.
Field Support
You will:
- Support project activities requiring regular field visits.
- Participate in project monitoring, evaluation, and assessment activities.
- Collect relevant field information and prepare reports following project engagements.
- Provide logistical and coordination support during field activities.
- Assist project teams in identifying implementation challenges and recommending solutions.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a recognized institution.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and project coordination abilities.
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- A minimum of five (5) years of full-time professional experience in administration, project coordination, public health, development programmes, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with:
- Hospitals or healthcare institutions
- Government agencies
- International organizations
- Development partners or donor-funded programmes
- Experience supporting health-related projects or international development initiatives.
- Experience with project reporting, stakeholder coordination, procurement processes, or field implementation activities will be an added advantage.

Employment Details
- Employment Period: Contract engagement until 31 December 2026.
- Probation Period: Six (6) months.
- Contract Renewal: Annual contract renewal will be subject to performance evaluation and organizational requirements.
