Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and attentive Pulpit Operator to oversee and control production processes from a central control room (pulpit). In this role, you will monitor equipment, manage system controls, and ensure smooth and efficient operations across the production line. Your ability to respond quickly and maintain accuracy will be critical to operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor control panels and systems from the pulpit/control room.
• Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to specifications.
• Identify operational issues and take corrective action promptly.
• Communicate effectively with field operators and supervisors to coordinate activities.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, outputs, and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Conduct routine system checks and report faults or maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a similar operational or control room role.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes and control systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain focused and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
