Job Summary
The Quality Control Officer actively ensures that all products and processes meet the company’s strict quality standards. The role involves inspecting, monitoring, and evaluating materials and finished products in woodworking, cabinetry, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate contributes to product excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction by maintaining consistent quality control practices.
Key Responsibilities
The Quality Control Officer will:
Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Monitor manufacturing processes and adherence to established procedures
Identify defects, deviations, or inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality reports
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during production
Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to operational efficiency
Assist in training staff on quality standards and best practices
Educational Qualification & Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality control, woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing processes
Strong understanding of production techniques, materials, and quality standards
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in documenting and reporting quality findings
