We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control & Safety Officer to support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with safety standards across our operations.

Job Summary

The Quality Control & Safety Officer will monitor production activities, inspect materials and processes, and ensure compliance with quality and workplace safety standards. The successful candidate will support operational excellence by identifying improvement opportunities, maintaining accurate inspection records, and promoting a safe working environment within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products to verify quality specifications.
• Recommend adjustments and improvements to production and assembly processes.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and quality control software effectively.
• Supervise production activities to ensure adherence to operational and safety procedures.
• Conduct routine quality and safety checks within the production environment.
• Identify non-conformance issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare quality control reports and maintain accurate inspection documentation.
• Promote workplace safety awareness and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality and operational efficiency.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Certification in Quality Control or Safety Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards, inspection methods, and testing techniques.
• Good mathematical, analytical, and technical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
