The Position
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. The role ensures smooth front-office operations, provides professional assistance, and contributes to a positive, welcoming environment. The Receptionist actively supports organizational efficiency and enhances the company’s professional image.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff warmly and professionally.
Answer, screen, and forward phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
Maintain the reception area in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and support meeting arrangements.
Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the organization.
Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, record-keeping, and data entry.
Promote a positive and professional office culture at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a minimum of a Diploma, HND, or Degree from a recognized institution.
Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Exhibit organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Reside in Abelemkpe or its environs.
Previous experience in reception, customer service, or office administration is an advantage.
