Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high guest satisfaction.

  • Supervise front-of-house teams, ensuring compliance with service standards, grooming policies, and operational procedures.

  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and disciplinary actions where required.

  • Monitor service quality, order accuracy, table management, and guest flow during peak periods.

  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.

  • Coordinate closely with kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.

  • Support inventory control, cash handling, and basic reporting for front-of-house operations.

  • Assist in planning and executing banquets, conferences, and special events.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations at all times.

  • Act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when required.


Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hospitality experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Good understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and basic financial controls.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain service excellence in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Professional appearance, integrity, and commitment to hospitality excellence.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
