Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high guest satisfaction.
Supervise front-of-house teams, ensuring compliance with service standards, grooming policies, and operational procedures.
Assist in staff scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and disciplinary actions where required.
Monitor service quality, order accuracy, table management, and guest flow during peak periods.
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
Coordinate closely with kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
Support inventory control, cash handling, and basic reporting for front-of-house operations.
Assist in planning and executing banquets, conferences, and special events.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations at all times.
Act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when required.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of hospitality experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Good understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and basic financial controls.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain service excellence in fast-paced environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Professional appearance, integrity, and commitment to hospitality excellence.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
