Role Summary

The Restaurant Delivery & Dispatch Coordinator will oversee daily delivery and dispatch operations to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate order fulfilment. The successful candidate will coordinate rider activities, manage delivery systems, monitor operational performance, and provide technical support for dispatch and POS systems while maintaining excellent customer service standards during peak operations.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Delivery Operations

• Coordinate and manage daily food delivery and dispatch activities
• Assign delivery orders efficiently to riders and monitor delivery timelines
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment during peak lunch and dinner periods
• Track rider movement and resolve delivery delays or operational issues proactively
• Maintain effective communication between kitchen staff, riders, and customer service teams

Logistics & Route Coordination

• Optimize delivery routes to improve speed and operational efficiency
• Monitor delivery performance and ensure service standards are consistently achieved
• Maintain strong knowledge of Adenta and major Accra delivery routes, traffic conditions, and navigation shortcuts
• Use navigation and dispatch tools to improve delivery coordination and customer satisfaction

Systems & Technical Support

• Manage restaurant POS systems and third-party delivery vendor dashboards
• Troubleshoot basic network, hardware, and operational system issues
• Support system updates and ensure proper functionality of dispatch technology platforms
• Maintain accurate delivery and performance records using Microsoft Excel and related tools

Team Coordination & Performance Monitoring

• Supervise and coordinate field-based delivery riders
• Monitor rider productivity, punctuality, and service quality
• Support continuous operational improvement and process efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company operational procedures and customer service standards

Educational Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience & Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant dispatch, e-commerce logistics, or fast-food delivery management
• Strong familiarity with restaurant POS systems and third-party delivery platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and performance tracking
• Basic network and hardware troubleshooting skills
• Excellent understanding of delivery coordination systems and operational workflows
