Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction.

  • Lead and support wait staff, hosts, and service teams during shifts to maintain service standards and efficiency.

  • Ensure strict adherence to The Ceiba Restaurant’s service protocols, brand values, and guest experience guidelines.

  • Monitor table service, order accuracy, and service timing, intervening promptly to resolve any issues.

  • Handle guest feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.

  • Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication, timely order execution, and high service quality.

  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance monitoring.

  • Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign stations, and ensure proper staff grooming and readiness for service.

  • Support inventory control of front-of-house supplies and ensure proper handling of service equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations throughout operations.


Requirements

  • Diploma or professional certification in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hospitality or restaurant experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills in fast-paced service environments.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality under pressure.

  • Good understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and basic reporting.

  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to guest satisfaction.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
