Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Lead and support wait staff, hosts, and service teams during shifts to maintain service standards and efficiency.
Ensure strict adherence to The Ceiba Restaurant’s service protocols, brand values, and guest experience guidelines.
Monitor table service, order accuracy, and service timing, intervening promptly to resolve any issues.
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication, timely order execution, and high service quality.
Assist in staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign stations, and ensure proper staff grooming and readiness for service.
Support inventory control of front-of-house supplies and ensure proper handling of service equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations throughout operations.
Requirements
Diploma or professional certification in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of hospitality or restaurant experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills in fast-paced service environments.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality under pressure.
Good understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and basic reporting.
High level of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to guest satisfaction.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
