Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to lead the organisation’s risk management strategy across all operational and functional areas. The successful candidate will identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring full regulatory compliance and supporting business continuity.

This role requires a proactive professional who strengthens risk governance and promotes a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and evaluate risks across all business functions, including R&D, clinical trials, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and mitigation strategies to reduce operational, financial, and compliance risks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Support regulatory audits, inspections, and corrective action processes
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to monitor product safety and investigate incidents affecting product quality
  • Strengthen Enterprise Risk Management by preparing risk reports and supporting strategic decision-making
  • Promote a risk-aware culture across all departments
  • Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity and crisis management plans to ensure resilience during disruptions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Pharmacy, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, compliance, or quality within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and audit processes
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and control implementation
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong ethical standards
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
