Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned, prepared, and maintained to the highest standards of comfort and presentation.

This role requires an individual who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently, and contributes to creating a warm and welcoming guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, service, and maintain guest rooms according to resort standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Ensure rooms are fully prepared and presented before guest arrival.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report defects promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping equipment and trolleys.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service calls.
• Ensure proper handling and use of cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Follow established hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and respect for guest property.
• Support the housekeeping team in achieving daily room turnaround targets.

Educational Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, Tourism, or a related field.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles within a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room preparation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel or resort environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high service standards consistently.
