Position Summary
The Salon Operations Lead will manage the day-to-day operations of Annie Beauty Unisex Salon, ensuring excellent customer service, effective team coordination, high service standards, and strong business performance. The successful candidate will provide leadership to salon staff, optimize operational processes, and create an exceptional experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities
As the Salon Operations Lead, you will:
- Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional service delivery.
- Lead, coach, and motivate salon staff to achieve service excellence and operational targets.
- Create a welcoming and customer-focused environment that encourages client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor service quality and ensure all beauty treatments and customer interactions meet salon standards.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, performance, and daily task assignments.
- Coordinate client bookings, appointments, and service flow to maximize efficiency and customer convenience.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and promptly.
- Support revenue growth by monitoring sales performance, promoting salon services, and identifying business opportunities.
- Manage inventory of beauty products, tools, and supplies while ensuring proper stock control.
- Work with management to implement promotions, customer retention initiatives, and service improvement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the salon.
- Maintain accurate operational records, including sales reports, inventory reports, and staff performance updates.
- Train and support team members to improve technical skills, customer service, and professional standards.
- Stay updated on beauty industry trends, products, and best practices to enhance salon offerings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen salon operations and client experience.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or professional qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in salon management, beauty operations, hospitality, retail management, or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing daily business operations.
- Strong knowledge of salon services, beauty products, customer care, and operational management.
- Experience managing inventory, sales reporting, and staff performance will be an advantage.
