- Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, and business correspondence professionally.
- Prepare, type, file, and maintain letters, reports, meeting minutes, and other official documents.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain executive calendars.
- Organize and maintain efficient filing systems for both physical and electronic records.
- Welcome and assist visitors while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain office records, stationery, and other administrative supplies.
- Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately and maintain organized bookkeeping records.
- Support petty cash management and ensure accurate documentation of transactions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company information and sensitive records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support efficient office operations.
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- An HND in Accounting.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a secretarial, administrative, or related role. Relevant experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of accounting software, which will be considered an added advantage.
- A solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent multitasking abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
