Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Systems Operator to monitor and manage the resort’s security systems and surveillance operations.

The successful candidate will operate CCTV and access control systems, monitor security alerts, and support the security team in ensuring a safe and secure environment across all resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and ensure continuous coverage of all key areas within the resort.
• Operate and manage access control systems to regulate entry and exit points.
• Detect, report, and respond promptly to security incidents or suspicious activities.
• Maintain accurate logs of security system activities, incidents, and observations.
• Support the security team in coordinating responses to emergencies and security breaches.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure all security systems are functioning properly.
• Report technical faults or system malfunctions for prompt repair or maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with established security protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with on-site security personnel to enhance overall safety operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive security information.

Educational Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in security operations, CCTV monitoring, or control room management.
• Strong understanding of CCTV systems, access control systems, and security technologies.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents.
• Good observational, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of vigilance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a security team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
