The Senior Buyer leads procurement activities by developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role strengthens supply chain efficiency and supports uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies to support operational needs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
- Ensure procurement activities remain cost-effective and aligned with approved budgets.
- Monitor market trends, pricing developments, and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Ghana procurement regulations and company procurement policies.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
Qualification & Experience
- Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of Ghana procurement regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement management systems.
