Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and organized School Shop Attendant to manage our school shop. In this role, you will provide essential services to students and staff by ensuring the smooth operation of the shop while maintaining a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for children.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the school shop efficiently and responsibly.
• Sell school supplies, snacks, and other approved items to students and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and transactions.
• Monitor inventory and restock items as needed.
• Handle cash and payments responsibly and transparently.
• Ensure the shop environment is clean, organized, and safe.
• Interact positively with students, demonstrating patience and professionalism.
• Support school policies and maintain a child-friendly environment at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum Senior High School (SHS) Certificate; additional training is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a retail shop is an added advantage.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
• Friendly, patient, and approachable—especially when working with children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of honesty, responsibility, and attention to detail.
