Position Summary

AT Ghana is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented SME South – Team Lead to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion within the SME segment. The successful candidate will lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs), recruit and develop sales agents, manage customer engagements, and execute strategic initiatives to achieve sales and gross acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Development Managers to achieve revenue and gross acquisition targets.
  • Drive daily gross adds acquisition and ensure consistent sales performance across the assigned territory.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales agents to deliver outstanding results.
  • Manage pre-sales engagements with prospective customers to identify business opportunities and promote AT Ghana’s solutions.
  • Oversee after-sales engagements to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term business relationships.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned sales storms and market activation activities.
  • Develop effective route plans and sales initiatives to maximize revenue generation and customer acquisition.
  • Manage and account for all stock assigned to the team in accordance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with real estate developers to support the deployment of fixed data and home broadband solutions.
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement development plans to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend strategies to strengthen AT Ghana’s market presence within the SME segment.
  • Prepare performance reports and provide insights to support business decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales or account management within an enterprise solutions environment, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience in business solutions sales, with telecommunications experience considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing team performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute strategic insights and thought leadership within customer and business environments.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and sales processes.
