Job Summary

Nature’s Sprout Academy seeks a compassionate and skilled Special Needs Teacher who will create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate actively engages learners, applies structured teaching approaches with warmth, and adapts strategies to support each child’s developmental and educational journey.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all learners.
  • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific needs.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that integrate academic learning with nature-based experiences.
  • Observe, assess, and document student progress with attention to detail.
  • Apply structured teaching methods while maintaining a warm and nurturing approach.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain emotional regulation and model positive behavior for students.
  • Remain teachable and actively incorporate feedback to improve teaching practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate a teachable mindset and openness to continuous learning and feedback.
  • Exhibit a structured yet naturally warm teaching style.
  • Show strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
  • Maintain emotional regulation and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
