Position Summary
The Stores Supervisor will oversee the efficient management of the company’s inventory and storage facilities. The role ensures proper storage, accurate record-keeping, timely supply of materials, and adherence to safety and operational standards to support the airline’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Stores Supervisor will:
Manage and maintain storage facilities for all stock items, materials, and equipment.
Monitor material consumption trends to support demand forecasting and inventory planning.
Raise timely purchase requests and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure availability of required items.
Maintain an accurate electronic inventory management database.
Conduct periodic physical stock counts and prepare detailed inventory reports.
Establish and monitor control procedures for shelf-life and life-limited materials.
Coordinate the delivery of items and equipment to out-stations or satellite stores when required.
Identify and facilitate the disposal of obsolete, expired, or condemned items in accordance with company procedures.
Develop and implement safety and housekeeping programs to promote the safety of personnel, equipment, and stored materials.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure transparency, traceability, and accountability in store operations.
Support operational efficiency by ensuring timely availability of materials required for airline operations.
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
Higher National Diploma (HND) or higher qualification in a related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years work experience as a Stores Supervisor or in a similar inventory or warehouse management role.
A valid driving license.
Good physical condition and stamina suitable for shift-based duties.

Proficiency in stores management systems and other relevant software applications.
