Position Summary

The Stores Supervisor will oversee the efficient management of the company’s inventory and storage facilities. The role ensures proper storage, accurate record-keeping, timely supply of materials, and adherence to safety and operational standards to support the airline’s operations.


Key Responsibilities

The Stores Supervisor will:

  • Manage and maintain storage facilities for all stock items, materials, and equipment.

  • Monitor material consumption trends to support demand forecasting and inventory planning.

  • Raise timely purchase requests and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure availability of required items.

  • Maintain an accurate electronic inventory management database.

  • Conduct periodic physical stock counts and prepare detailed inventory reports.

  • Establish and monitor control procedures for shelf-life and life-limited materials.

  • Coordinate the delivery of items and equipment to out-stations or satellite stores when required.

  • Identify and facilitate the disposal of obsolete, expired, or condemned items in accordance with company procedures.

  • Develop and implement safety and housekeeping programs to promote the safety of personnel, equipment, and stored materials.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure transparency, traceability, and accountability in store operations.

  • Support operational efficiency by ensuring timely availability of materials required for airline operations.

  • Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.


Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or higher qualification in a related discipline.

  • Minimum of three (3) years work experience as a Stores Supervisor or in a similar inventory or warehouse management role.

  • A valid driving license.

  • Good physical condition and stamina suitable for shift-based duties.
