Job Summary
Africa World Airlines Limited is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Call Centre Executive (French) to provide exceptional support to passengers. The successful candidate will manage customer inquiries, ticketing processes, and service requests while ensuring a seamless and professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls professionally and respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly
- Issue, modify, and process ticket reservations in accordance with company regulations
- Ensure all tickets are processed accurately and in line with airline policies
- Manage customer-related issues to ensure high levels of passenger satisfaction
- Maintain customer turnaround time within established service standards
- Record and document customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions
- Respond promptly to email inquiries and customer complaints
- Serve as a front line contact for passenger inquiries across multiple channels
- Engage with customers via social media platforms when required
- Reconcile payments with ticket sales accurately
- Conduct outbound calls to inform customers of flight changes or disruptions
- Perform other assigned duties to support call centre operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy and familiarity with relevant systems
- Legal right to work in Ghana
- Prior experience in the airline industry is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of ticketing functions, including reservations, issuance, modifications, and refunds
- Familiarity with KIU Passenger Service System (PSS) is an advantage
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to handle customer objections and resolve issues effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
