Role Purpose

You will lead end-to-end recruitment activities for Barry Callebaut in Ghana, ensuring the organisation attracts, selects, and hires top talent efficiently and fairly. You will create a positive, inclusive, and welcoming candidate experience while acting as a strong ambassador for the company brand.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define workforce needs, job requirements, and selection criteria
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, reference checks, and offer management
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines, including engagement with passive candidates
  • Promote employer branding initiatives and represent the organisation at career fairs, campus events, and recruitment forums
  • Develop and update accurate job descriptions and structured interview guides
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruitment data in ATS and HR systems (including SuccessFactors)
  • Ensure a professional, transparent, and engaging candidate experience at every stage
  • Act as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador throughout the hiring process

About You

You bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years’ in-house recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally within an international organisation
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent attraction strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive mindset with resilience and adaptability
  • Advanced proficiency in English and strong MS Office skills
  • Experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors (an advantage)
  • Certification in psychometric or talent assessments (an added advantage)
