Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Technical Officer to support pond operations and overall fish farm management in Techiman. You will monitor fish health, maintain water quality, and track production metrics to ensure optimal growth and efficiency while contributing to a safe and productive aquaculture environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily fish pond operations
• Monitor fish feeding, growth, biomass, and overall health
• Maintain optimal water quality and pond conditions
• Track, record, and report production and operational data
• Identify and address fish health or operational issues promptly
• Implement best practices in aquaculture and pond management
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• SHS, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Agriculture, or a related field
• No prior experience required; up to 1 year in fish farming preferred
• Knowledge of pond management, aquaculture practices, and fish health monitoring
• Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to sustainable aquaculture and operational excellence
