Job Overview:
Asante Gold Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Technical Services Manager to lead technical and operational support at the Bibiani Mine Site. The successful candidate will oversee mine planning, geotechnical engineering, resource modeling, and technical services to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage technical services teams across open-pit and underground mining operations.

• Oversee mine planning, geotechnical analysis, survey practices, and resource modeling.

• Apply advanced 3D modeling and mine planning software to optimize operational efficiency.

• Support mineral processing and metallurgical processes to enhance overall productivity.

• Conduct numerical modeling and slope stability assessments using tools such as DIPS, UNWEDGE, MAP3D, PHASE2, or equivalent.

• Implement best practices in ore body and resource modeling, pit optimization (e.g., Whittle), and production scheduling.

• Prepare technical reports, operational plans, and recommendations for senior management.

• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, safety standards, and operational policies.

• Mentor and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary technical team.

• Collaborate effectively within a multi-cultural workforce and foster a culture of respect and inclusion.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive technical and operational mining experience, with exposure to both open-pit and underground operations.

• Minerals Commission Certificate of Competency (Mine Superintendent/Manager) is desirable.

• Valid Ghanaian driving license.

• Advanced knowledge of mining systems, planning, geotechnical engineering, survey practices, and resource geology.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and mine planning software.

• Familiarity with mineral processing and metallurgical principles is an advantage.

• Strong working knowledge of numerical modeling tools (e.g., DIPS, UNWEDGE, MAP3D, PHASE2).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

• Advanced skills in Whittle or similar pit optimization software.

• Extensive experience in ore body and resource modeling.

• High computer literacy, including Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and respect diverse values and opinions.
