Position Summary

SBP Africa is seeking experienced, safety-conscious, and reliable Tipper Truck Drivers to support the transportation of materials and products across operational sites. The successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and supporting efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tipper trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and road traffic regulations.
• Transport materials, aggregates, and other assigned loads to designated locations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
• Report mechanical faults, maintenance requirements, and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery documentation, and vehicle logs.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, site personnel, and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
• Support operational activities as required to achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with the appropriate class required to operate tipper trucks.
• Previous experience operating tipper trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
• Hands-on industrial, logistics, construction, mining, or transportation experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding operational environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Relevant certifications or specialized driving training will be considered an added advantage.
