Key Responsibilities

As the Vehicle Dispatch Specialist, you will:

• Coordinate the dispatch of self-owned vehicles based on daily operational and transportation requirements.
• Schedule vehicle movements to ensure the timely collection and delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, dispatch schedules, and trip activities.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support efficient operations.
• Monitor trip progress and resolve dispatch-related issues promptly.
• Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company policies and operational procedures.
• Prepare dispatch reports and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Monitor vehicle availability and communicate any operational challenges to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in vehicle dispatch, transport coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
