Job Summary
The Data Entry Specialist will accurately capture, update, verify, and maintain company data to support effective decision-making and smooth business operations. The successful candidate will manage records, perform data quality checks, support administrative processes, and ensure confidential information remains secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases, spreadsheets, and information systems.
- Review and verify data entries to identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of records.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical records for easy retrieval and reference.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and data analysis documents as required.
- Support administrative activities, including filing, documentation, and record management.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive company information at all times.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to manage and analyze data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect, verify, and update information.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with company procedures and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve data management processes and efficiency.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Educational Qualification & Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- An HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, records management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
