Role Overview

The Volunteer will serve as a vital link between CIHR and local communities by providing hands-on support, facilitating engagement activities, and promoting health and resilience initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about community development, public health, and social impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Officer in organizing community events, health screenings, and distribution activities across assigned locations.
  • Deliver peer education by communicating key health and safety messages in a culturally appropriate and accessible manner.
  • Assist in collecting data through surveys and community feedback to help identify local needs and improve program delivery.
  • Mobilize and encourage community participation in CIHR programs, training sessions, and outreach activities.
  • Represent CIHR in communities by promoting values of resilience, care, and mutual support.
  • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with community members and local stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in any relevant field.
  • Strong interest in community development, health education, or social impact work.
