Position Summary
Nestlé Ghana Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a shift-based warehouse team and ensure efficient, safe, and accurate inbound and outbound operations. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to warehouse management while maintaining Nestlé’s high standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise warehouse teams operating on a shift system to achieve daily operational targets.
Manage inbound and outbound warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure compliance with Nestlé standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements at all times.
Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse performance indicators.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
Coach, train, and motivate team members to maintain high performance and engagement levels.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, transport, and production teams.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and adherence to company procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years’ professional experience in a similar warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
Core Competencies:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
