Position Overview
Fabrico Builders seeks a highly organized and experienced Workshop General Foreman to oversee daily workshop operations and supervise fabrication activities. The successful candidate will coordinate teams, ensure quality workmanship, maintain safety standards, and support the timely completion of fabrication tasks that contribute to the company’s construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and fabrication processes.
• Lead, guide, and monitor workshop staff to ensure productivity and quality performance.
• Ensure all fabrication work complies with project specifications, drawings, and company standards.
• Plan and assign tasks to workshop personnel based on project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and best practices.
• Monitor the use of tools, equipment, and materials to minimize waste and maintain efficiency.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy before dispatch to project sites.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to support project timelines.
• Maintain workshop records, including work schedules, maintenance logs, and material usage.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth workflow within the workshop.

Educational Requirements
• Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Relevant technical training or certification in fabrication, welding, or workshop supervision is an added advantage.

Experience and Skills
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in workshop supervision, fabrication, or construction operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
• Knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and workshop safety practices.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Working Conditions
The role requires active supervision within the workshop environment and regular coordination with project teams. The foreman must demonstrate strong attention to safety, efficiency, and quality in all workshop operations.
