Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Zonal Manager to lead and oversee retail operations within an assigned zone. In this role, you will drive sales performance, support branch leadership, and implement strategies that expand market share and strengthen the company’s presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the activities of Branch Managers to ensure effective implementation of retail marketing strategies and achievement of targets
• Expand the company’s market share within the assigned zone
• Contribute to the formulation of retail marketing strategies and budgeting processes
• Develop and execute tactical plans to address market challenges and opportunities within the zone
• Support Branch Managers in identifying and developing new markets and premium collection channels, while strengthening existing ones
• Gather and analyze market intelligence, and provide actionable insights to Management
• Prepare and submit periodic performance and activity reports to the Head of Retail Marketing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
• Manage human, financial, and operational resources within the zone efficiently
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the role

Key Requirements

• Minimum of a first degree in Sales Management, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Diploma in Insurance is required; ACII qualification is an advantage
• A second degree is an added advantage
• At least 7 years of proven experience in retail sales management
• Experience within the financial services industry is an advantage
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and drive team performance
