We invite an experienced and forward-thinking professional to join our team as Manager, Bank-Tech – MoMo to lead lending and scoring strategy execution and drive sustainable portfolio growth.


Job Summary

The Manager – BankTech leads the development and execution of Bank-tech and credit scoring strategies to grow the MoMo lending portfolio, including personal and small-scale business loans (credit/term loans and overdrafts).

The role drives scalable credit-building initiatives across multiple scoring engine platforms, manages strategic partnerships, and ensures effective product lifecycle execution. The Manager translates customer insights into optimized credit solutions, enhances customer journeys, and delivers strong financial and non-financial performance in line with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Performance Management

  • Support the Senior Manager – BankTech in achieving annual revenue and non-revenue KPIs.

  • Monitor revenue and cost performance to maintain portfolio profitability.

  • Formulate and execute lending and scoring strategies aligned with the approved roadmap.

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and transformation initiatives.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead product concept documentation, business case development, customer journey mapping, UATs, and go-to-market execution.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and optimization.

  • Expand and optimize digital lending channels.

  • Develop pricing proposals aligned with market dynamics and country-level nuances.

Lending & Scoring Optimization

  • Collaborate with partners to design and enhance credit scoring models, algorithms, and decisioning platforms.

  • Conduct market and regional research to create realistic user stories for solution enhancement.

  • Identify innovative approaches to strengthen product portfolio and credit-building capabilities.

Customer Experience & Value Management

  • Map and optimize customer journeys to improve user experience.

  • Gather and analyze Voice of Customer insights from reviews and complaints.

  • Design and manage loyalty and reward programs in collaboration with Commercial and CVM teams.

  • Monitor relevant metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery and adoption.

Partner & Risk Management

  • Manage third-party partners to scale BankTech and lending services effectively.

  • Implement risk mitigation measures and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.

  • Facilitate approval processes for new initiatives and change proposals.

  • Manage approved budgets for internal BankTech projects.


Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • MBA or Master’s Degree (Mandatory)


Experience

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in fintech, banking, or financial services

  • Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role

  • Proven track record in delivering fintech products, driving business growth, and achieving financial results

  • Experience within a multinational or emerging market environment
