Job Summary

The Finance Officer will manage and strengthen the organization’s financial operations by ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can support strategic decision-making through effective financial management and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

  • Monitor cash flow and oversee organizational expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper financial records and documentation.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain strong financial controls and systems.

  • Assist in budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis.

  • Collaborate with program teams to ensure proper financial planning and accountability.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and financial reporting skills.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools is desirable.
