Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth, partnerships, and revenue generation for RENTBRiG. The successful candidate will lead market expansion initiatives, build high-value partnerships, and strengthen the platform’s position within Ghana’s housing and real estate sector.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow RENTBRiG’s housing marketplace and service offerings.

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the housing, property management, and real estate sectors.

  • Expand platform adoption by on-boarding landlords, developers, and property managers.

  • Drive tenant acquisition and increase usage of RENTBRiG services.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners and clients.

2. Strategic Partnerships

  • Establish and manage partnerships with employers to integrate RENTBRiG’s rent financing solutions into employee welfare programs.

  • Build relationships with real estate agents, developers, and property owners to increase listings.

  • Identify and secure partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, and key housing stakeholders.

  • Negotiate agreements that deliver long-term value and align with business growth objectives.

3. Revenue Generation

  • Drive revenue growth across core offerings, including rent financing, property management, and renovation services.

  • Increase transaction volumes across the digital marketplace.

  • Identify and develop new revenue streams through innovative partnerships and services.

  • Monitor market trends and recommend competitive pricing strategies.

4. Customer Acquisition & Market Engagement

  • Lead tenant and landlord on-boarding initiatives.

  • Support marketing campaigns to boost awareness and adoption.

  • Represent RENTBRiG at industry events, forums, and stakeholder engagements.

  • Strengthen customer relationships to improve retention and long-term engagement.

5. Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track business development pipelines, partnerships, and revenue performance.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.

  • Prepare periodic reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Tenant On-boarding: Achieve 20 new tenants annually.

  • Employer Partnerships: Secure 10 partnerships annually.

  • Stakeholder Partnerships: Establish 20 new real estate partnerships annually.

  • Revenue Growth: Deliver at least 8% annual growth in financing services.

  • Transaction Success Rate: Maintain a 95% successful transaction rate.

  • Tenant Retention: Achieve 80% retention rate.

  • Market Engagement: Facilitate a minimum of 12 strategic industry engagements annually.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.

  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial strategy, preferably within real estate, proptech, fintech, or financial services.

  • Proven track record of delivering growth and operational excellence.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK) are an advantage.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in property rental (residential/commercial) and at least 4 years in a supervisory or management role.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.

  • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and cost analysis.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrate adaptability, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.
