Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Agronomist to provide expert guidance on crop production, soil management, and sustainable farming practices. The successful candidate will work closely with farmers and agricultural stakeholders to optimize yield and quality, implement effective crop management strategies, and support research initiatives.

This role requires a hands-on, analytical professional who can combine technical expertise with practical advisory services to drive agricultural success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on crop production, soil management, and sustainable farming practices
  • Conduct soil testing and analyze results to recommend appropriate fertilizers and amendments
  • Develop and implement crop management plans to optimize yield and crop quality
  • Monitor crop performance, pests, and diseases, and recommend effective control measures
  • Engage with farmers and agricultural stakeholders to improve productivity and adoption of best practices
  • Conduct field trials and research to evaluate new crop varieties and farming techniques
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to management and clients
  • Stay updated on emerging agricultural trends and technologies to enhance advisory services

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agriculture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in agronomy or agricultural advisory services
  • Strong knowledge of crop production systems, soil fertility, and pest/disease management
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with farming communities
  • Proficiency in agricultural data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel for fieldwork as required
