Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Telecom Product & Solution Sales Manager to drive business growth, manage key projects, and expand our footprint in the telecom sector. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in fiber optic and wireless product sales, excellent customer relationship skills, and a strong understanding of regional telecom markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of fiber optic cable and wireless products across Ghana, Cameroon, and Togo, achieving set performance targets.
- Manage and maintain large and medium-sized projects in the telecom industry.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Negotiate partnerships, collect and analyze customer requirements, and identify project opportunities.
- Formulate and execute the company’s sales strategy within the region.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence, preparing actionable market research reports.
- Liaise with major telecom operators’ procurement departments, ensuring familiarity with product registration and on-boarding processes.
- Complete all necessary product registration processes required by major operators.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telecom product and solution sales, specifically fiber optic and wireless products.
- Hands-on experience and familiarity with telecom operators in Ghana (Huawei, ZTE, ATC, Netis, Telecel preferred), Cameroon (Huawei, ZTE, IHS, Camtel preferred), and Togo (Huawei, ZTE, YAS, MOOV preferred).
- Strong track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
- Excellent project management and client relationship skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Knowledge of telecom operator procurement and product registration processes.
