Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Corporate Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, deepen client relationships, and deliver tailored financial solutions while maintaining strong risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain structured call plans to ensure consistent engagement with corporate clients.
- Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of the full suite of corporate banking products and services.
- Proactively drive sales and cross-sell banking solutions to existing and prospective clients.
- Negotiate client terms and prepare proposals for concessionary pricing for Executive Management approval.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Engage clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Review and analyze financial statements and documents for credit assessments.
- Resolve client issues and complaints effectively, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
- Conduct industry research to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to support succession planning and talent development.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Acquisition of new corporate relationships.
- Frequency and quality of client engagement meetings and calls.
- Reactivation of dormant accounts.
- Growth in share of wallet within the existing portfolio.
Financial Performance Metrics
- Growth in Loans & Advances.
- Deposit mobilization.
- Net Interest Income (NII) generation.
- Growth in non-funded income (fees and commissions).
- Revenue from trade, FX, and transaction banking.
Risk & Portfolio Quality
- Maintenance of portfolio quality within approved risk thresholds.
- Strong credit structuring and monitoring standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis, and financial structuring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
